Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the Cortex platform and its related services. By using Cortex, you agree to these Terms in their entirety.

1. Service Description

Cortex is an AI agent orchestration platform built on OpenClaw that provides workflow automation, skill management, agent monitoring, and autonomous scanning capabilities. Agents run on your own infrastructure.

2. User Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for the security of your login credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • An account is personal and cannot be transferred

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Cortex offers the following plans:

  • Starter: Core features for small teams
  • Pro: Advanced workflows, skills, and autopilot
  • Team: Full platform with priority support and SLAs

Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Billing and renewal follow standard Stripe terms.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. User Content

  • You retain ownership of your workflow definitions, agent configurations, and outputs
  • You agree not to use the platform for illegal or harmful purposes
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms

5. Intellectual Property

The Cortex platform, including its source code, design, and algorithms, is the property of its creators. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

6. Disclaimer

  • Cortex provides AI agent orchestration tools and does not guarantee specific outcomes
  • You are responsible for the actions taken by your AI agents
  • We recommend reviewing agent outputs before deploying to production

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Cortex is provided "as is" and "as available"
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Our liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the last 12 months

8. Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time from settings
  • We may suspend accounts for Terms violations
  • Data will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy

9. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance.

10. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Paris, France.
